Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy call off engagement
Actress Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy, frontman of Muse, are calling it quits.
The couple, who started dating in 2010 and got engaged the following year, are calling things off. They are parents to 3-year-old son, Bingham Hawn.
"Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now," Hudson's rep told People. "Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."
When Hudson first got engaged, she gushed about Bellamy during a visit to the "Today" show: "He's a beautiful man, and I'm excited."
Hudson was previously married Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson from 2000-2006. They have a 10-year-old son named Ryder.
