Karen O to perform at the Oscars

All four of the nominees for best original song will now be performed during the Oscars telecast.

Following previous announcements that Pharrell Williams, Idina Menzel and U2 will perform at the Academy Awards, producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said Thursday that Karen O will also take the stage.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman will be singing "The Moon Song" from Spike Jonze’s "Her," with music by her and lyrics co-written by her and Jonze. It will be the first time she'll perform the song in front of a global television audience.

The three other nominated songs are Williams' "Happy" from "Despicable Me 2," "Let It Go" from “Frozen” (performed by Menzel) and U2's "Ordinary Love" from "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom."

The 86th Academy Awards, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, will air live Sunday, March 2, on ABC.
