​John Stamos thanks fans for support following DUI arrest

John Stamos took to Twitter to thanks his followers for their support following his DUI arrest, noting that he's "home and doing well."

On Friday, the "Full House" star was arrested and cited with driving under the influence in Beverly Hills, California. He was the only person in the vehicle.

Police told Associated Press that the 51-year-old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because of a possible medical condition. While there, authorities confirmed that Stamos had been driving under influence. He was then arrested before returning home on Saturday.

Stamos starred in ABC's "Full House" from 1987 to 1995 and has been instrumental in the "Fuller House" reboot, which will debut next year on Netflix. He'll both star in and produce the series.

His other recent credits include "ER," "Glee," "The New Normal" and "Necessary Roughness."
