Jessa (Duggar) Seewald reveals baby's name

Jessa (Duggar) Seewald has finally named her baby, and you'll never guess the moniker.

The baby boy's name is Spurgeon!

Spurgeon Elliot Seewald's nickname had been Quincy since the Seewalds found out they were expecting, Jessa said in a video on their website, but after some deliberation, she and husband Ben Seewald decided to name their son after a preacher.

"Charles Spurgeon was a preacher who lived in the 19th century and he had a big impact on our lives and his writings and sermons are still around today," said Ben. "Elliot was the last name of Jim Elliot and Elisabeth Elliot."

Ben explained that Jim had been killed during his mission in Ecuador, while his widow Elisabeth continued to do missionary work after his death.

Spurgeon Elliot weighed 9 pounds 11 ounces at birth and was 21.25 inches. Jessa and Ben showed off their baby in the video, and called him a "bundle of joy."
