Jake Owen chops off his locks
Jake Owen has said goodbye to his long, flowing locks.
The 33-year-old country singer chopped his signature hair -- documenting the changeover to his new look on Twitter:

He's been sporting the same 'do since releasing his 2006 album, "Startin' With Me." Last year, Owen issued his latest album, "Days of Gold," and has been on the road this year behind the set.
Owen's wife, Lacey Buchanan, and their daughter, Olive Pearl, sometimes join the trek, too. The couple married in May 2012 (after Owen proposed onstage) and welcomed their baby girl later that year.
"They come out as often as they can," Owen told CBS News of his family. "It's hard now that my daughter's growing up to keep her confined in the bus. When she was smaller and not moving a whole lot it was easy. But now that she's running all around, it's hard...We bring her out as much as we can, as much as she wants to come out. With her getting older, making friends and going to start pre-school soon, I'm sure they'll stay home a little more."
