Ind. pastor's pregnant wife dies after being shot during robbery

Indiana police seek killer after murder of pregnant pastor's wife

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The pregnant wife of a pastor shot during a home invasion robbery two days ago has died, reports CBS affiliate WTTV.

Amanda Blackburn, 28, was critically injured during the Tuesday morning shooting at her home in Indianapolis. The coroner's office said Wednesday that Blackburn was on a ventilator and that it appeared her death was "imminent." She has since been taken off the ventilator and the organ donation process is complete, the coroner's office said.

Blackburn and her husband, Davey Blackburn, moved from South Carolina to Indianapolis in 2012 to start the Resonate Church on the north side. They have a young son and Blackburn was 12 weeks pregnant with their second child.

"It's impossible to communicate all the emotions my heart has been forced to process," Davey Blackburn said in a statement released Wednesday. "My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God"

Police have not said if there are suspects in the attack.
