Florida man arrested after teen prank goes awry

JUPITER, Fla. -A Florida man faces aggravated assault charges after an apparent prank involving four teenage boys went awry.

The Palm Beach Post reports 26-year-old Ignacio J. Garcia called Jupiter police Sunday after the teens tossed an egg into his pickup truck.

A police report states Garcia then followed the teens to Interstate 95. The teens told investigators that Garcia pointed a gun at them and threatened to shoot.

Police stopped both vehicles and initially handcuffed the teens -- ages 15 and 16. They were released when police found no "permanent damage" to Garcia's truck.

But Garcia insisted police contact their parents, who told investigators the man had pulled a gun on their sons.

Garcia was released from Jail Tuesday. Records don't say whether he has a lawyer.
