Hillary Clinton makes case for world's toughest job in new ad

Hillary Clinton's campaign on Friday released a new ad that makes the case for why she is the best candidate to take on the toughest job in the world.

"The world a president has to grapple with, sometimes you can't even imagine," a narrator says at the beginning of the 30-second ad, that shows clips of terrorists, the stock market and a tornado.

"That's the job. And she's prepared for it like no other," the narrator says.

The ad goes on to say that as secretary of state, Clinton did everything from negotiating a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to leading diplomatic efforts to avoid war.

"The presidency is the toughest job in the world and she's the one leader who has what it takes to get every part of the job done," the narrator says.

The ad is part of the campaign's ongoing buy in Iowa, according to a Clinton official. The Feb. 1 Iowa caucuses is just over a week away and the Democratic presidential contender continues to spend time there. On Thursday night, she rallied with young voters in Iowa City and with singer Demi Lovato.

This comes just a day after Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign released a 60-second ad that shows different snapshots of people across America, with Simon and Garfunkel's "America" playing in the background.
