George Clooney talks wedding to Amal Alamuddin

We already knew George Clooney would be marrying fiancee Amal Alamuddin in Italy, and now the actor has revealed exactly where (and a better idea of when) they'll be saying "I do."

While accepting a humanitarian award at a black tie gala in Florence, People reports, Clooney told attendees, "I met my lovely bride to be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places."

Clooney, 53, attended the event, which was held in support of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, with Alamuddin, 36.

He and the Beirut-born London lawyer got engaged earlier this year. The actor-director gushed about his fiancee in an interview this past summer, saying, "I'm marrying up."

This will be the second marriage for Clooney (he was previously married to actress Talia Balsam) and the first for Alamuddin.
