First trailer for Michael Bay's Benghazi movie is here, watch it now

The first trailer for Michael Bay's "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" is out, in all of its dramatic, suspenseful, bang-bang, blow-up glory.

The movie is an adaption of the book "13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi," by Mitchell Zuckoff, and shows a serious depiction of the 2013 attacks in Libya.

The film stars John Krasinski in a drastically different role than we've ever seen him in before, leaving his goofy "Office" and romantic comedy days behind him in a puff of black smoke. In the trailer, however, we do not hear a word from Krasinski. His co-stars are full of demands and dramatic proclamations, but Kraskinski is left staring seriously, without uttering a word, just telling us all we need to know about the dangerous situation he's put himself in with dark long stares and his smoke-streaked face.

A strategic move from Bay? We guess so?

The book, which was released last fall, details the assault on a U.S. diplomatic compound, which resulted in the deaths of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.

In addition to the surprisingly chiseled John Krasinski, the film also stars James Badge Dale, Max Martini, Toby Stephens and Pablo Schreiber. It is due out in theaters Jan. 15, 2016.
