First look at CBS' new fall shows: "Supergirl," "Limitless" and more

CBS unveils new primetime lineup

After unveiling its primetime schedule for the 2015-2016 TV season at Wednesday's upfront, CBS has released the first looks at the five new shows it is adding to its lineup this fall.

The freshman offerings include the dramas "Supergirl," "Limitless" and "Code Black," as well as family comedy "Life in Pieces" and the Jane Lynch-starring "Angel from Hell."

"Supergirl" and "Angel From Hell" will debut in November, after the end of "Thursday Night Football." "Limitless," "Code Black" and "Life in Pieces" will debut earlier in the fall.

Check out the first looks at the new shows below:

"Life in Pieces," starring Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, Zoe Lister Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Betsy Brandt and Dan Bakkedahl (Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET, then moving to Thursdays post-football).


"Limitless," starring Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter, Hill Harper, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Bradley Cooper -- who will appear in the pilot and is expected to recur (Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET).


"Code Black," starring Marcia Gaye Harden, Bonnie Somerville, Luis Guzman, Melanie Kannokada, Benjamin Hollingsworth and William Allen Young (Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET).


"Supergirl," starring Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks and David Harewood (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, beginning in November).


"Angel from Hell," starring Jane Lynch, Maggie Lawson, Kevin Pollak and Kyle Bornheimer (Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET, starting in November).
