"Fear the Walking Dead" trailer premieres at Comic-Con

San Diego's Comic-Con broke some big news for fans of "The Walking Dead" on Friday.

AMC set an Aug. 23 premiere date for "Fear the Walking Dead," a spinoff to its hit show, "The Walking Dead."

And a new trailer also surfaced for the new upcoming series, set in Los Angeles during the early days of the zombie apocalypse.

Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey will star in the six-episode series.

Meanwhile, season 6 of "The Walking Dead" will get underway on Oct. 11.
