Ryan Seacrest to host Fashion Rocks on CBS

The worlds of music and modeling are about to collide for Fashion Rocks.

The star-studded charity event is returning to air on CBS for the first time since 2008. The concert special will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., during September's Fashion Week.

Emmy-winner Ryan Seacrest is on board as this year's host.

"I'm always excited to be a part of live events, and Fashion Rocks combines three of my favorite things -- music, fashion and New York City," Seacrest said in a statement.

The show will be executive produced by Richard Beckman, CEO of Three Lions Entertainment, and Don Mischer of Don Mischer Productions.

Musical acts expected to perform include Jennifer Lopez, KISS, Duran Duran, Miranda Lambert, Afrojack, The Band Perry, Nico & Vinz, Rita Ora and Pitbull.

Fashion Rocks will air Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
