"Fargo" adds Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson for season 2

"Fargo" is getting a few more residents for its second season.

The FX anthology series has added Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson and Jean Smart to star alongside previously announced leads Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Nick Offerman, Brad Garrett, Kieran Culkin, Bokeem Woodbine, Jeffrey Donovan and Angus Sampson also round out the recurring cast.

The new iteration of "Fargo" will be set in 1979, around the Sioux Falls incident referenced during season 1. Wilson will play a younger version of Lou Solverson, the character portrayed by Keith Carradine during the first season.

Per THR, Danson will play WWII vet and Rock County sheriff Hank Larsson and Smart will play Floyd Gerhardt, the matriarch of the Gerhardt crime family. Dunst and Plemons will play husband and wife Peggy and Ed Blomquist.

"Fargo" is scheduled to return in fall 2015.
