Entertainment buzz: Facebook's top 10 moments of the week

A little baby got a big dose of Internet fame this week with a little help from Katy Perry, and moviegoers packed theaters for an intergalactic Marvel adventure.

New music from Beyonce that addressed a certain elevator fight also got attention, as did harsh words from Jon Voight to other Hollywood stars about Israel and Gaza.

Facebook has tallied the top 10 buzziest stories in entertainment this week, and all of those topics made the most-talked-about list. What had you talking? See what you missed in this exclusive list on CBSNews.com.

1. Viral video shows baby stops crying when listening to Katy Perry's "Dark Horse"

How do you stop a baby from crying? For this little one, a little Katy Perry did the trick. Watch as this toddler goes from fussing to dancing as soon as the pop star's "Dark Horse" starts playing. And those facial expressions!

2. Finnish bluegrass band Steve'n'Seagulls' rendition of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" gets buzz online

This Fininish band has been making a name for itself by covering popular rock and metal classics with a bluegrass twist. Their latest effort is this rendition of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," which has gotten more than 2 million views since it was first posted on July 31.

3. Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" rockets to the top of the box office

"Guardians of the Galaxy" has become just as much of a hit with audiences as it has been with critics. The cosmic action flick starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana as part of an intergalactic band of rebels earned $94 million in its debut weekend -- giving it the biggest opening ever for an August film release.

We bet even Groot is pleased (though all he'll say about it is, "I am Groot").

4. Lil' Kim's "Identity Theft" takes aim at Nicki Minaj

Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj's war of words is heating up again. After Beyonce's "Flawless" remix featuring Minaj dropped this week (more on that below), Lil' Kim released a new track of her own called "Identity Thief." And in case you had any doubts who it was about, the artwork makes it crystal clear - it features Minaj's photo on a driver's license that has Kim's name on it.

5. Beyonce releases remix of "Flawless" featuring Nicki Minaj

Beyonce surprised everyone last weekend by releasing new music -- and then surprised them further by addressing that much-talked-about fight between her husband and sister on the track. The remix of "Flawless" features this line about the Jay Z-Solange dustup: "Of course sometimes s--- goes down when there's a billion dollars on an elevator."

6. Music fans gather for Lollapalooza in Chicago's Grant Park

Lollapalooza rocked out for its 10th year with three days of performances by nearly 140 acts, including Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Skrillex, Outkast, Calvin Harris, and Kings of Leon -- not to mention that first daughter Malia Obama was one of the music fans in attendance.

7. Taylor Swift visits 6-year-old cancer patient at Boston Children's Hospital

Whether or not you like Taylor Swift's music, you can't deny she's got a big heart. The "Red" singer recently visited a 6-year-old boy battling cancer at Boston Children's Hospital and not only sang for him but also played air-hockey and talked animatedly about Play-Doh and Spider-Man. Brace yourself for all the feels.

8. Jon Voight slams letter on Gaza signed by Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

Actor Jon Voight had some harsh words for Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem over the stars' recent criticism of Israel amid the conflict in Gaza. The "Ray Donovan" star and father of actress Angelina Jolie penned a guest column in The Hollywood Reporter in which he called Cruz and Bardem "ignorant" after their names were included on an open letter that denounced Israel's actions as "genocide."

9. Marilyn Burns, star of original "Texas Chain Saw Massacre," dies at 65

Iconic "scream queen" actress Marilyn Burns died earlier this week at the age of 65. She was best known for her starring turn in Tobe Hooper's 1974 horror classic "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," in which she played Sally Hardesty -- the sole survivor, or so-called "final girl," of serial killer Leatherface's deadly rampage.

10. Filming begins on "Alice in Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass"

Longing for another trip down the rabbit hole? You're in luck. Filming for a sequel to Disney's live-action 2010 version of "Alice in Wonderland" is under way. Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway are all returning, so don't be late.
