Drew Carey, Craig Ferguson swap jobs for April Fools' Day

Drew Carey and Craig Ferguson decided to get in on a little April Fools' Day fun this year by trying their hands at hosting each other's shows.

The two switched places -- with Carey behind the desk at "The Late Late Show" and Ferguson got to come on down on "The Price is Right," for episodes that aired Tuesday.

As host of "The Late Late Show," Carey interviewed comedy legend Carl Reiner, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer (and fellow Clevelander) Connie Schultz and rocker Joan Jett, who performed "Any Weather" with The Blackhearts. Announcer George Gray and "The Price is Right" models Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster and Manuela Arbelaez were also in attendance.

Ferguson, meanwhile, was joined on "The Price is Right" by his robot skeleton sidekick, Geoff Peterson, and pantomime horse, Secretariat.

Carey and Ferguson have worked together before -- they both starred on "The Drew Carey Show," on which Ferguson played Carey's boss.

"The Late Late Show" and "The Price is Right" air weekdays at 12:37 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET, respectively, on CBS.
