District attorney receives police file on Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina moved to hospice care

Police in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell say they've turned over their investigative file on Bobbi Kristina Brown to the district attorney, who will determine whether any charges will be filed.

The 22-year-old Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell home Jan. 31.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Thursday in a statement to The Associated Press that his office will be "reviewing the case with greater interest" in light of new circumstances regarding her health.

Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston, was recently moved into hospice care after months in the hospital. In a statement Wednesday, her aunt Pat Houston said that her condition has worsened.

In a statement Wednesday, Pat Houston said her niece's condition has worsened.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," Pat Houston's statement read. "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care."

Howard said an announcement on charges, if any, would be made at "the appropriate time."

Meanwhile, Nick Gordon, Brown's partner, was sued this week. The suit, filed by a court-appointed conservator for Brown, accuses him of being physically and emotionally abusive toward Brown, misrepresenting the nature of their relationship and taking money from her without authorization.

Pat Houston, the musical icon's sister-in-law and manager, was appointed administrator of the trust fund Whitney Houston set up for her daughter.
