Dallas middle school teacher shows nude photo of herself to students
DALLAS -- Administrators at a Dallas middle school have sent a letter to parents explaining that one of the teachers showed a nude photo of herself to her students in class.
CBS Dallas reported that it happened Monday at J.L. Long Middle School.
"An inappropriate photo was inadvertently shown to students by one of our teachers," principal Danielle Petters wrote. "Please know that, out of respect for all parties, there is little else that should be said about the incident..."
The principal went on to say, "This was an embarrassing situation for both the teacher and students that is now being handled administratively."
The letter did not identify the teacher, what subject she teaches or how old the students who saw the photo are. The Dallas Independent School District has not specified how or if the teacher will be disciplined.
