CW adds 3 new shows, including DC Comics spinoff "Legends of Tomorrow"

The CW network is adding a fourth DC Comics-based series to its schedule next season, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

The new series will join CW's 2015-16 lineup at midseason. The network is bringing back "The Flash," "Arrow" and "iZombie" this fall.

A second new series, the epidemic drama "Containment," will debut at midseason.

The CW is adding one new show in the fall, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," to pair with its sophomore standout "Jane the Virgin."

"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," originally developed as a half-hour cable comedy, will air as an hour-long series Monday nights before "Jane the Virgin." The new show stars Rachel Bloom as a lawyer who quits her job to go in search of love.
