Cops: Suspect bit NYC subway rider who asked her to move bag

NEW YORK - Police say a New York City subway rider scratched and bit another passenger after the victim asked her to move her bag from a seat, reports CBS New York.

The incident occurred on a Manhattan-bound F train from Queens around 9:45 a.m. last Friday. The station reports the 45-year-old victim asked the suspect to move her bag so she could sit down. When the suspect ignored her, the victim tried to sit down anyway, police told the station. That's when the suspect allegedly pushed the victim, scratched her on the chest, pulled her hair and bit her on the forearm, causing her to bleed, police said.

The suspect fled when the train stopped at a station in Queens. Police have released a picture of the suspect, who remains at large.
