Cops: Stepson a person of interest in case of missing S.C. man

UNION, S.C. - Raymond Davis, a 61-year-old South Carolina man, has been reported missing from his home in Union County, according to CBS affiliate WSPA. Authorities are now looking Davis. However, his stepson, 41-year-old Travelle Burros, has now been named a person of interest in the case and the search is on for him as well.

Authorities said that a relative of Davis called police Tuesday, concerned about the man's welfare. Earlier in the day, Davis and his stepson got into an argument, reports the station.

City of Union Public Safety investigators then searched Davis' residence and found blood in the kitchen, leading officials to determine that foul play may be a factor in the disappearance, according to WSPA.

Police are currently looking for Burros, who is described as 5'9", weighing 180 pounds. Those with information are asked to call the Union Public Safety Department at (864) 429-1713.
