Cops: Suspect threw coffee in woman's face in Starbucks spat
PHILADELPHIA --Police say a woman is wanted for assault after being caught on camera throwing a cup of coffee in another woman's face at a Starbucks,reports CBS Philly.
On Monday morning, police say a 54-year-old female was inside the Starbucks in Philadelphia when she got into an altercation with another woman that quickly escalated.
During the initial argument, police say the suspect threw a coffee stirrer at the victim. Once both women went outside, the suspect is seen in the video throwing a cup of coffee in the woman's face.
In the footage, the suspect is then seen punching the victim in the face and body. The suspect also grabbed the victim's hair and pulled her to ground -- continuing to punch her until a bystander separated the two.
Authorities describe the suspect as a female in her mid-40s, 5 feet, ten inches tall, and 130 pounds. The woman was seen wearing pink pants and carrying a pink bag, according to CBS Philadelphia.
