Cops: 4 beat man, left him in woods to be eaten by wolves

CRANDON, Wis. - Four adults are accused of beating a man for two days and then leaving him for dead in the woods near Crandon, Wis. for wolves to eat.

Authorities say Justin Bey, 21; Raymond Jones, 45; April Jones, 38; and Samantha McClellan, 18, beat the 40-year-old victim because they believed he touched a child inappropriately.

Forest County District Attorney Charles Simono says there are no plans to charge the victim.

Prosecutors say one of the suspects met the victim a couple weeks ago on a dating website.

Court documents obtained by CBS affiliate WSAW say the victim had been staying with some of the suspects and was beaten periodically for two days straight.

A group of ATV riders found the man in the woods last week. He has multiple fractures and severe frostbite.

Two juveniles were also charged in the case. Simono wouldn't give any details of those charges.
