Colbert unveils new "Late Show" marquee

Stephen Colbert shaves face to prepare for "Late Show" debut

A new marquee has been unveiled at the Ed Sullivan theater.

Since undergoing renovations for Stephen Colbert, the incoming "Late Show" host the iconic marquee has been under wraps.

Briefly it held a pretty hilarious advertisement for the Italian restaurant next door, the legendary Angelo's.

Now, with only a month away, Colbert's team finally unveiled the new look.

Surprisingly, it's missing Colbert's name from the front. We can't see where his name would fit in the typography, either. Perhaps the marquee is a fill-in for something fancier to come?

Either way, Colbert is taking over Letterman's spot on "The Late Show" Sept. 8.
