Ciara welcomes baby boy
Ciara is a mother for the first time.
The R&B pop star welcomed a baby boy on Monday -- and he comes with a familiar name. Ciara instagrammed a photo on Tuesday, along with the caption: "FUTURE ZAHIR WILBURN 9lbs 10oz May 19 2014"
In January, during a visit to "The View," Ciara revealed that she was expecting her first child with rapper Future. The engaged couple will reportedly exchange vows this fall.
Around that time, Ciara, 28, opened up about her pregnancy, telling CBS News, "I'm so excited. Honestly, these are the happiest years of my life...I feel like now I'm really becoming a woman with everything that's happening...Getting prepared for something like this is so much fun. I feel like a little kid waiting on Christmas for the day I get to meet my baby. It's so beautiful and it's something I've always looked forward to."
Future, 30, has three children from previous relationships.
