Chris Pine stars in Joss Whedon's latest Save the Day video, which takes on Congress

With just a week left before election day, Joss Whedon is taking the focus of his Save the Day PSA campaign off of the presidential race and focusing on some other areas of government he thinks could use some improvement.

Luckily, he has “Star Trek” star Chris Pine on board to embody some truly childish legislative behavior.

In “Leonard,” Pine stars as an office employee meant to represent the the House of Representatives and the Senate -- or at least how that branch of government has been behaving since the 2010 midterm elections.

When a meeting’s discussion turns to providing healthcare for all employees, Pine’s Leonard throws a tantrum, pounding his fists on the desk and shouting. When he continues to not be able to get his way, he just shuts down the entire company for a month -- “but I still get paid.”

It’s not all bad, though. The other employees quickly realize they have one way of addressing Leonard’s ridiculous behavior: “We all got together and voted,” Alan Tudyk’s character explains.
