Chris Christie shows off his "Dad Dancing"
Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., sounded confident when he told "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon that he could "hypothetically" beat Hillary Clinton.
"Hypothetically, you run for president," Fallon prompted Christie Thursday during the governor's appearance on "The Tonight Show." "Hypothetically, Hillary Clinton runs for president. Hypothetically, do you think you could beat her?"
"Hypothetically, you bet" Christie replied.
"In a dance-off," Fallon clarified.
"That's what I was talking about," Christie said. "What were you talking about?"
As if to prove the point, the two men earlier took to the stage for a skit called "The Evolution of Dad Dancing," demonstrating some of the best moves dads use to embarrass their kids.
The skit, airing just in time for Father's Day, included some favorites like the "Belt Grabber," and the "Don't Make Me Turn This car Around."
Christie, who was honored as Father of the Year by the Father's Day/Mother's Day Council last week, hammed it up, obviously enjoying himself, until Fallon ended the skit with a pose called "This Bridge Is Closed," wagging his finger at the camera.
Christie threw up his hands in mock anger and walked off the stage.
It was a reference to the governor's recent traffic scandal, in which some of Christie's aides engineered lane closures on the George Washington Bridge in 2013 to punish a local mayor who declined to endorse Christie's reelection bid. Christie fired the aides responsible and has said he was not aware of the scheme.
