Chicago police search for 12-year-old girl, fear sex trafficking

CHICAGO --Chicago Police swarmed a neighborhood Monday where a 12-year-old bipolar girl went missing on Saturday.

CBS Chicago reports that Myesha Lee, who goes by the nickname "Nee Nee," is supposed to be on medication. The girl is a habitual runaway according to police, but this time investigators fear she has landed in the hands of sex traffickers.

Authorities have not said if they have evidence to support that fear. But police were seen desperately searching on Monday, questioning those with criminal histories and searching backyards.

Lee is 5 feet tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Area North Special Victim's unit at 312-744-8266.
