Chelsea Handler looking to leave late-night show
After eight years as the host of "Chelsea Lately," comedian Chelsea Handler could be saying goodbye to her late-night show.
At least that's what Handler's manager Irving Azoff told The Hollywood Reporter. "Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires. She hired me to figure out her life after E! We have at least seven suitors and many ideas," Azoff revealed.

On "Chelsea Lately," the 39-year-old comedian often pokes fun at her network, and talks about her dissatisfaction with the E! executives. While on Howard Stern's show earlier this month, Handler called the cable network "a sad, sad place to live." She added, "They don't know what they're doing. They have no ideas. It's a failure."
According to Azoff, Handler is looking into her own radio program, or a different late-night talk show on a digital service or competing channel. E! has declined to comment on these claims or the possibility of Handler leaving. The network did release a statement, saying: "Chelsea has nine months left on her contract and E! will not comment on the future of Chelsea Lately at this time."
According to THR, Handler earns "$9 million a year while delivering average viewership of 572,000 a night -- a decline from 839,000 in 2010."
