Carrie Fisher: Stop talking about how I've aged

Carrie Fisher should feel over the moon (or over Alderaan) after the success of "The Force Awakens," but she wrote on Twitter that all of the talk about how she has aged is getting her down.

"Please stop debating about whetherOR not [I] aged well.unfortunately it hurts all3 of my feelings. My BODY hasnt aged as well as I have.Blow us," she fired back at her critics.

She said she sees her body as a vessel for her mind: "My body is my brain bag, it hauls me around to those places & in front of faces where theres something to say or see."

She then retweeted several nasty remarks from Twitter users that said she hadn't aged well and posted another original tweet: "Youth&BeautyR/NOT ACCOMPLISHMENTS,theyre theTEMPORARY happy/BiProducts/of Time&/or DNA/Dont Hold yourBreath4either/ifUmust holdAir/takeGarys."

She also retweeted comments from her supporters, who wrote things like, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ... Someone else might have given a f**k."

Fisher recently told U.K. Good Housekeeping that she was asked to lose 35 pounds for the "Star Wars" film, and said she wished she didn't care about her weight.

"When I do lose the weight I don't like that it makes me feel good about myself," she said. "It's not who I am. My problem is they talk to me like an actress but I hear them like a writer."
