2 more arrests in Cuomo aide's parade shooting death

NEW YORK -- Two more men are in custody in connection with the death of an aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo who was shot and killed last year, reports CBS New York.

Carey Gabay was walking with his brother in Brooklyn when he was gunned down in the street during festivities leading up to New York City's West Indian Day Parade on Sept. 7, 2015.

Police said he was caught in gang crossfire and was shot in the head as he tried to duck behind a car. He died days later in the hospital.

Last month, police arrested New York City resident Micah Alleyne in connection with the shooting. He faces murder, criminal possession of a firearm and reckless endangerment charges. Police say Alleyne fired the shot that killed Gabay.

Tyshawn Crawford, 21, and Keith Luncheon, 24, now also face murder charges in Gabay's death, the station reports.

Gabay, a Harvard-educated lawyer, served as first deputy general counsel at the Empire State Development Corp., a state agency.
