Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are engaged

Sounds like Cameron Diaz will be sporting a new ring for the holidays.

The 42-year-old actress is engaged to 35-year-old rocker Benji Madden, according to People, which says Madden popped the question "a few nights ago."

Engagement reports starting popping up back in October.

"All of Benji's friends are aware and happy for him," an insider said.

Diaz and Madden have yet to confirm the engagement reports, but Diaz has been spotted with bling on her ring finger.

Diaz and the Good Charlotte guitarist started dating earlier this year.

"I'm not looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff," Diaz told Marie Claire magazine in its November issue. "I'm living, not thinking what I should or shouldn't be doing with my life."
