Wednesday's the day for the second Republican Presidential Debate, to be broadcast on CNN, with separate rounds for first-tier and second-tier candidates.
Thursday sees the annual Ig Nobel Prize award ceremony at Harvard University, honoring scientific achievements that the sponsors say make people first LAUGH, and then THINK.
Friday is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, honoring all American service members who have been prisoners of war, as well as those still listed as missing.
