Monday is Memorial Day, honoring all of America's fallen service members, with observances across the country, including a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.
Tuesday sees "Manhattanhenge" -- the first of two evenings this year when the setting sun aligns exactly with Manhattan's street grid.
Wednesday is National Senior Health and Fitness Day, featuring events at more than 1,000 locations nationwide.
It was 50 years ago Thursday that "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" was released in Britain. The Beatles' landmark album was released in the U.S. one day later.
