Tuesday brings the National Women's History Museum's annual gala in Washington, with former First Lady Laura Bush among this year's honorees.

On Wednesday, former army intelligence officer Chelsea Manning is scheduled to be released from prison, after having her espionage sentence commuted by former President Obama.

Thursday is International Museum Day, dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of museums.
On Friday, President Trump departs on his first official overseas trip, with scheduled stops in Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican, among others.
And Saturday is National Learn to Swim Day, aimed at teaching parents and children the health and safety benefits of learning how to swim.
