Caitlyn Jenner: Why I decided to do a TV series
"It's going to be quite a journey," says Caitlyn Jenner.
That's how Jenner is describing her transition in a new promo for "I Am Cait," her eight-part docu-series premiering next month.
"Why did I decide to do a series?" she asks in the 1-minute clip, which will document the former Olympian champ's transition to a female.
In the clip, Jenner is seen in a beautiful long dress as we hear her say, "I am telling my story...This is about getting to be who you really are."
She elaborates on what viewers can expect during the series, explaining, "We're going to talk about everything. We're going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We're going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle--because girls do that too. It's going to be quite a journey. We're going to do some good."
Just a day before the promo premiered, Kris Jenner chimed in on her ex's transition, telling Extra, "I think it's amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy."
Earlier this month, Jenner went public with a new female identity and name on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.
"I Am Cait" premieres July 26 on E! at 8 p.m. ET.
