Fractures, trauma seen in victims of Amtrak derailment

PHILADELPHIA -- Victims of the Amtrak train derailment suffered wide ranging injuries, according to doctors with Aria Health, a hospital where patients have been treated. More than 200 people were hurt in the derailment, and seven were killed.

Dr. Cynthia Fusco told CBS News she's seen injuries that include: "Blunt trauma, broken ribs, fractured necks, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, broken legs."

"CBS Evening News" anchor Scott Pelley spoke with Fusco and two other doctors about the patients they've treated. Watch the video above to hear the doctors describe the extent of the injuries and what patients told them about the derailment.
