Bob Barker returns to CBS on "The Bold and the Beautiful"

"The Bold and the Beautiful" is right for Bob Barker.

The 90-year-old former "The Price is Right" host will be returning to CBS daytime television with a special guest-starring role on the long-running soap opera.

The TV veteran and animal rights activist is set to appear on the April 30 episode of the series in a three-day-long story arc revolving around animal rescue. CBS' "Lucky Dog" star Brandon McMillan and Los Angeles Councilman Bernard Parks will also appear in episodes as part of the arc.

Barker will be making a cameo as himself, interviewed by Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about issues concerning pet population control.

"Animals can't speak for themselves, they depend on us to protect them," Barker says during the scene.

This isn't the first time Barker has appeared on "The Bold and the Beautiful." The TV veteran previously guest-starred on the soap in 2002.

Barker was host of "The Price Is Right" from 1972 to 2007, often ending each episode with his trademark sign-off, "Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered."

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
