Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly tying the knot within the year
The “Voice” lovebirds Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton supposedly have big plans for the rest of year.
Namely, they’ll reportedly be tying the knot before 2016 is through, a source tell Us Weekly: “They want to get married before the end of the year.”
The only wrinkle, according to the source, is that Stefani and Shelton have yet to tell their families the actual wedding date. Which is probably why Stefani clammed up during a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest when the former “American Idol” host quizzed her about the possibility of a wedding.
“Everything is going so quickly,” she said. “I’m in the moment and, um ... look at me, you’ve got me tongue-tied.”
“I look at this year and I think, I just feel so awake,” she added. “I feel so alive and so grateful. This year has been so full of so much joy.” Whether it will include the joy of a wedding as well is yet to be seen.
In the meantime, Shelton -- who is currently on tour, with Stefani along to duet on their single, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” -- is going to have to be content with being content.
“They are both very, very happy,” another source said. “Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her.”
