Bindi Irwin delivers bloodthirsty performance for Halloween-inspired "Dancing with the Stars"
We can all agree that Bindi Irwin is one of the sweetest, nicest people ever. So how does a kind-hearted young woman find her inner vampire to deliver a powerhouse performance for the "Dancing with the Stars" Halloween week?
She did it with hard work and having the undisputed "DWTS" king Derek Hough as her partner.
On Monday's episode, the 17-year-old nature conservationist and animal expert dug deep to find the monstrous beast within herself for her vampiric Argentine tango set to "Cry Little Sister" from the 1987 horror classic "The Lost Boys."
While it's clear from the pre-taped package that Bindi doesn't have a ferocious bone in her body when she's off the dance floor, once she got out on stage it was a whole other story.
Decked out in pale make-up, a shimmering red dress and prosthetic fangs, Bindi truly became the Queen of the Vampires, and it looked like Derek had to work hard to keep up with her level of passionate, visceral intensity.
As soon as the number came to a close, Bindi's familiar, adorable smile returned and the young performer couldn't keep a lid on her joy -- which wasn't quickly abated by the judges' stellar feedback.
For the second week in a row Bindi and Derek were rewarded for their efforts with a perfect score from the judges, further cementing Bindi's status as fan favorite and clear frontrunner as this season's mirror ball trophy winner.
