Beyonce teases mysterious "Lemonade" event this weekend on HBO
Beyonce fans are used to expecting big things from the pop queen at a moment's notice, so it must be nice to have a few days to prepare for once.
Fresh off the launch of her new line of athletic apparel, the "Formation" singer caught the Internet off-guard once again with a brief video announcement teasing some sort of special called "Lemonade" on HBO Saturday, April 23 at 9 p.m. eastern and 6 p.m. pacific.
The 20-second clip shows Beyonce in a parking garage, donning blonde cornrows and a fur coat, leaning against some sort of massive car grill with her head bowed as eerie music plays. As she slowly raises her head, her voice echoes, saying, "What am I going to do?"
"Lemonade" has long been rumored to be the title of Beyonce's highly anticipated new album, as she's been using imagery related to the word on social media for months. Speculation over the clip has been centering on the idea of a "music video album" that would up the ante from the release of her last album, which was made available for digital purchase with no prior warning in 2013.
So what do you think Beyonce and HBO have planned for Saturday night?
