Beyonce responds to Jay Z breakup rumors

Leave it to the star who released an entire visual album last year to respond to rumors with pictures over words.

Beyonce, who has used her Instagram page in the past to address reports about her personal life, used that practice again this week as she and Jay Z have faced speculation about whether they're headed for divorce.

After the New York Post reported Tuesday that the singer was seen apartment-hunting solo, Beyonce posted a photo of her rapper husband carrying their daughter, Blue Ivy, on a beach.

"My favorite hue is Jay Z Blue," she captioned the snapshot.

This isn't the first time Beyonce has used Instagram to send a message. After her sister, Solange, was caught on tape attacking Jay Z in an elevator at a Met Gala after-party, she posted photos of herself and her sister smiling happily (all three later released a joint statement addressing the incident).

Last month, when changed lyrics in one of her songs at a concert fueled more breakup speculation, she posted a photo of her and Jay Z smiling and having champagne together.

And when the New York Post published a report earlier this month that said the couple was on the brink of divorce, she shared another family photo two days later.
