Bernie Sanders tells crowd of thousands why he'll beat Donald Trump
At a rally in Austin, Texas, Bernie Sanders ranted for two minutes against Donald Trump on taxes, minimum wage, climate change and immigration.
"Thankfully, most Americans are not like Donald Trump," Sanders said.

"I believe that Donald Trump's idea of dividing us up is a horrific, un-American idea," Sanders said to the cheering crowd of over 10,000. "We will defeat Trump because the American people do not want a president who insults Mexicans, Muslims, who insults women, African Americans, veterans, and basically anybody who is not like Donald Trump."

In the same speech Sanders repeated his support for comprehensive immigration reform and a path towards citizenship, a big issue for Texans. He talked about the plight of Latinos across the country who work hard, but must live in the shadows and are "tired of living in fear."
"I would hope that every American would stand up against xenophobia and racism that we are hearing," Sanders -- and later posited that the American people won't want a leader who uses the rhetoric that Trump does.
"We will defeat Trump because the American people do not want a president who insults Mexicans, Muslims, who insults women, African Americans, veterans, and basically anybody who is not like Donald Trump," Sanders said.
Then, before swaying back and forth on the stage to "This Land Is My Land," Sanders concluded, "We will defeat Trump because our campaign is bringing people together, not dividing them, we will win because togetherness trumps divisiveness, community trumps selfishness, and love trumps hate."
