Ben Affleck appears to reveal a new DC villain via social media

Is Batman gearing up for a fight against fan-favorite DC Comics villain Deathstroke?

Ben Affleck’s Twitter account would certainly seem to suggest that. 

The “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” star teased fans Monday by tweeting a video that seemed to show the character coming to life in some form of film production process.

The villain in question, Deathstroke, is seen emerging from a cargo plane and looking around. It is unclear exactly what production the footage is from, but many have speculated that Affleck is hinting at Deathstroke being the villain for his upcoming standalone Batman film, which Affleck will also be directing. 

DC Entertainment didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
