Ashton Kutcher "stopped listening to things Charlie Sheen says"
Ashton Kutcher couldn't really care less about Charlie Sheen, mocking the former "Two and a Half Men" lead during a Tuesday appearance on "Conan."
Kutcher, who now stars in the CBS sitcom, was asked about rumors that Sheen may be returning for a final season, three years after notoriously being fired.
Kutcher said in a disinterested tone, "I just kind of stopped listening to things Charlie Sheen says." He continued, "Charlie Sheen has kind of become like a parent on 'Charlie Brown' to me. It's like 'Wah-wah-wah, wah-wah-wah-wah-wah-wah."
But the actor is grateful for his role on the show.
"And I just keep saying thank you for the great job. I've got an awesome job, and it's thanks to you not having it anymore, so thank you," he said.
In August, Kutcher was named the highest-paid TV star by Forbes for the third year in a row. And as far as Sheen possibly returning, he said, "I don't even care...It's not a thing for me."
Last month, ET Online reported that Sheen was looking to make a comeback on the show.
"I've reached out to them and they've reached back," said Sheen, who currently stars on FX's "Anger Management." "We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."
As of now, Warner Bros. denied that anything is in the works with Sheen.
The new season of "Two and a Half Men" kicks off this Thursday at at 9 p.m. ET.
