Arson investigation at Calif. high school; juvenile arrested

MONROVIA, Calif. -- A juvenile suspected of intentionally setting fire to a California high school has been arrested, reports CBS Los Angeles.

According to the Monrovia Fire Department, the three alarm blaze erupted shortly after 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Upon their arrival, authorities located flames and heavy smoke pouring out of the third floor of the building.

The fire erupted within the counseling office on campus, according to detectives.

Witnesses said they saw the boy throw something through a window to start the fire.

No injuries were reported and authorities have not said if the suspect attends classes at the school.
