Cops: Arrest made after toddler witnesses parents' murder
POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. -- Police have made an arrest in connection with the deaths of a Georgia couple who were shot in front of their 3-year-old daughter, reports CBS affiliate WGCL.
Anthony and Catherine Costner were found in their car on August 4, and their daughter was in the vehicle at the time, according to police. Their vehicle was spotted in a ditch by drivers in Powder Springs, Ga. Anthony Costner was pronounced dead at the scene and Catherine Costner later died at an area hospital.
It's not known how long the girl was sitting in the car with her parents before someone called 911.
Police believe the shooting was not a random attack, but have not released information about the suspect who was arrested.
