Are Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol dating?

Britney Spears reportedly has a new man in her life.

According to multiple reports, the 32-year-old pop star is dating producer and writer Charlie Ebersol, who also happens to be the son of Dick Ebersol -- co-creator of "Saturday Night Live."

An insider told E! News that they met through friends, adding, "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. They are both very happy and having fun."

In August, Spears split from boyfriend David Lucado amid reports that he had cheated on her. Prior to that, she was engaged to her one-time manager Jason Trawick.

Spears, meanwhile, is celebrating her own special "Britney Day" on Wednesday in Las Vegas. She's getting a "key" to the Vegas strip to coincide with her "Piece of Me" show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
