Ann Romney weighs in on another run for the White House

More than a few of Mitt Romney's supporters are hoping that the 2012 Republican nominee will make a third run for the White House in 2016, but his wife, Ann Romney, is not one of them.

"Done," Ann Romney said when the LA Times asked her about the possibility of a third run. "Completely. Not only Mitt and I are done, but the kids are done," she said, a reference to the five Romney sons. "Done. Done. Done."

Romney becomes political MVP on campaign trail

Asked whether she would support Mitt Romney should he want to run again, Ann Romney said she hadn't "been pushed to that point mentally."

Mitt Romney himself told CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes, "I'm not running," when she asked about his presidential prospects earlier this month. That has been his answer all along, but in August, he did tell radio host Hugh Hewitt, "Circumstances can change."

Ann Romney may already have moved on, though. She also listed for the LA Times the candidates she finds "really interesting," including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, her husband's running mate in 2012.

"We're going to see a nice field shake out," she said.
