Amanda Bynes' parents blast sexual abuse accusations
Amanda Bynes went on a Twitter rant Friday, accusing her father of sexually, physically and verbally abusing her. But her parents' lawyer says the accusations are false.
Shortly afterwards, Bynes seemingly took it all back, tweeting, "My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me."
The troubled former child star has been tweeting all week about everything from transferring to a new college to getting married.
On Friday, she took it to a new level, writing, "My dad was verbally and physically abuse to me as a child," before adding, "I need to tell the truth about my dad. He called me ugly as a child and then asked me if I wanted to have sex with him and i did not know how to respond and I said no and then. I was forced to live with my dad which was a total nightmare."
She went on to claim, "My dad fondled himself in front of me so many times that i started recording him on my phone in hopes of catching him... saying or doing something inappropriate around me so I could get him arrested & put in jail for the rest of his perverted life."
"My mom knows that my father's literally and physically incestual towards his own daughter and the fact that she never called the police on Him embarrasses me to no end," she continued on Twitter.
Bynes also claimed that she's hiring a lawyer in hopes of getting a restraining order against her father.
"I cannot hear the sound of His incestually charged voice ever again and I'm just being honest...So let me live my own life free of unhappiness and misery."
Tamar Arminak, the attorney representing Bynes' parents, told TMZ, "My clients are heartbroken by these false accusations. Their older children are also horrified at the situation."
Lynne Bynes, Amanda's mother, added, "Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. These allegations stem from Amanda's mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality."
According to the site, sources say Rick and Lynne Bynes have been trying to get Bynes into a mental health facility. The were said to be attempting to fly to New York, where she's been staying, but when Bynes caught wind of their plan she reportedly left Manhattan.
Bynes grew up in Thousand Oaks, California, the youngest of three children.
The latest ordeal comes on the heels of Bynes' recent arrest in Los Anglees on DUI charges.
Bynes underwent psychiatric treatment last year after authorities said she set a small fire in the driveway of a Los Angeles-area home. She pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving in February and was sentenced to three years of probation. Before that, she was under scrutiny for an alleged bong-throwing incident in New York. The case was later dismissed.
Bynes, 28, starred in her own Nickelodeon series, "The Amanda Show" and appeared in several movies, including "What a Girl Wants," "Hairspray" and "She's the Man."
